How You Can Show at the 2026 TRFAM

This event is limited to 16 riders who have qualified at one of three events in the 2025-2026 show season: 2025 The Run For A Million, Las Vegas, NV (5 Riders), 2025 Equita Lyon, Lyon France (1 Rider), and the 2026 Bosque Ranch Shootout (10 Riders).
Please note that for the 2026 Million Dollar Competition, only nine qualifiers will advance from the 2026 Spring Qualifier. Fernando Salgado, who was unable to compete in 2025, will be the 16th rider.
This event is limited to 15 riders (an increase from 10) who have qualified at the 2025 Brazos Bash.
This event is limited to 15 riders who have qualified at one of three events in the 2025-2026 show season: 2025 National Stock Horse Association Futurity (5 Riders), 2026 National Reined Cow Horse Association Western Derby (5 Riders), and 2026 NRCHA Event TBA (5 Riders).
This youth event will invite the top ten finalists from the 2026 Western Bloodstock World’s Greatest Youth Horseman to compete in Las Vegas in August.
The qualifying period for the 2026 TRFAM is now through May 31, 2026. Riders must first compete at approved host events, with the top five from each slate advancing to the Semi-Finals, which will be held in conjunction with the 2026 6666 NRHA Derby presented by Markel. From there, the top 30 Non Pros, top 20 in both Rookie 1 and Rookie 2, and the top 10 Youth, will qualify to compete at the 2026 TRFAM in Las Vegas.

The $100K Open Shootout at TRFAM is open to any NRHA member.
