Held March 21 at Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, The Qualifier is a one-day, $100,000-added event that will determine the final nine riders advancing to the 2026 The Run For A Million. With no prelims and no second chances, competitors will have one opportunity to secure their place on reining’s biggest stage this August at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
While spectators will only enter Bosque Ranch on competition day, the energy will begin building earlier in the week. Horses move in March 17 at noon, and from that moment forward, the focus shifts entirely to preparation. Riders, owners, and support teams will spend the days leading up to the event
dialing in every detail. At this level, small mistakes make the difference.

Located just minutes from Bosque Ranch, Ixtul’s US operation is led by National Reining Horse Association Professional and Three Million Dollar Rider Jordan Larson.

The Taco & Tequila Welcome Party, scheduled for Friday, March 20, will give competitors and their teams an opportunity to gather before the pressure peaks. In a week defined by preparation and precision, the evening offers a chance to connect with friends and fellow competitors before shifting fully into competition mode.
“At the end of the day, this industry is built on relationships,” Larson said. “We compete hard, but we also respect the people we’re competing against. Events like this remind us of that.”
The Qualifier serves as the final opportunity to earn a place in the 2026 The Run For A Million, held August 9–15 at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. When the dust settles at Bosque, the field for Las Vegas will be complete.
