The Run For A Million

The Run For A Million Social Media Policy

The Run For A Million, Inc. (collectively, “TRFAM”) maintains a strict social media policy (“Policy”). The purpose of this Policy is to establish clear guidelines regarding the use of social media platforms and live broadcasting technologies in connection with TRFAM events and to protect TRFAM’s intellectual property. As used herein, the “Event” is the 2025 The Run For A Million event to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, August 11 – 16, 2025.

If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Megan Soliah, EVP Marketing at megan@bosqueranchheadquarters.com.

With the rise of live-reporting and live-streaming capabilities through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), Snapchat, TikTok, and others, this policy serves as a reminder and framework to ensure fair and appropriate practices. It applies to all advertising, promotional content, and social media activity associated with the Event, as well as any other use of TRFAM’s intellectual property.

The Run For A Million, Inc., as owner of TRFAM brand, logos, trademarks and service marks, including but not limited to “THE RUN FOR A MILLION®” and its logo, is required to, and will, protect its intellectual property against unauthorized uses and infringements.

Grant of License

At any time, TRFAM, its officers, employees, contractors, or agents, may request the content captured during the event for use in connection with the TRFAM website, marketing materials, or social media platforms. Such content (to be used by TRFAM) must be provided upon request without watermarks, and no fees may be charged for the use of the content by TRFAM. By providing such content, the content creator grants TRFAM, its affiliates, and licensees, an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and transferable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and exploit the content, in any media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the universe, and for any lawful purpose, without any further compensation or limitation. The content creator agrees to enter into any further agreement, including a license agreement, with TRFAM as necessary or desirable to effect the purposes hereof.

Logo Use

All photos and video content captured at the Event must include a visible watermark identifying the individual, group, or media outlet responsible for the content. If the content features a competitor or horse owner, their logo may also be added at the creator’s discretion. However, the official TRFAM logo must be included on all media and appear alongside any additional branding.

It is strictly prohibited to alter, obscure, or “greek” any official sponsor logos, signage, or branding associated with TRFAM in any photo, video, or other media content. Any tampering with or removal of sponsor visibility will be considered a violation of this policy and may result in legal action or revocation of media credentials.
